After a year +

An update. Yep, that's all you get, an update.

Monday, September 12, 2005

I just got back from my "youth hangout thingee." My youths are making fun of me for my use of the word thingee, but you know, I don't care. I am me, and its in all in good fun. Speaking of fun. The south is fun. I love Greeneville, TN. It is seriously the best town in the world and that's a fact. The mountains I can see from my backyard blow me away, the mountains up close blow me away. my darling fiancee's college is here (hehehe) And the slight accent I am developing is fun too like.....Greeneville is prounounced Greenvole with no emphasis on the vole. A light is a l(very long i)ght. So I have to work at the accent....big deal :)

Oh, I thought I wrote somehting on Sunday. My bad. Anyways, so today I subbed and I was subbing for a vocational class. It was called child care or something like that. It twas a unique experience, teaching high schoolers how to watch young children by giving the high schoolers activies and expecations of kindergarters. I'm sure thats very effective (rolls eyes)

On a better note, my hot water heater should be running again soon, I hope. It went out Friday Night and I know nothing about breakers so I'm afraid to touch it. They said they'd be up to fix it soon. Maybe one day I'll learn about breakers and water heaters and other stuff like that, or not :)

Currently Reading
Eragon (Inheritance, Book 1)
By Christopher Paolini
see related

Here are the books that I will truly write one day.

Picture Book Theology - Expressing deep theological conceptal truths in ways a child could understand

No Bad Campers -Youth Ministry book based on the idea that the youth will rise to your level of expectation. The philosiphy worked great for me in my many years of dealing with youth.

The Wonder of it All - An autobiography that shows how my love for kid stuff like Adventures in Odyssey, super heroes, fairly tales, and the like has influenced my faith and my walk with God.

There will probably be more eventually. Which one will you buy????

Woah, May, it has been a while hasn't it? Well I have la internto again and it rocks!!! Life is good, being engaged is good. Being a youth pastor is good, being a tech teacher is good, and being a sub is good. It's all good. Any new fun stuff, let's try tomorrow, comment if you read this so I know if I have motivation to continue to write this.
